Planning Policy Context

Current national and regional planning policy recognises the strategic importance of Dublin Port.

This policy supports:
• A growth in port capacity
• Improving international connectivity
• Optimising efficient land use
• Delivering climate-aligned infrastructure

The ABR2 Project aligns with national and regional objectives including the National Ports Policy, National Development Plan, National Marine Planning Framework, National Planning Framework, and Dublin City Development Plan 2022–2028.
