The ABR2 Project is a new planning application to An Coimisiún Pleanála (ACP) to complete specific elements of the original ABR Project. It is expected that the planning application will be lodged with ACP in mid 2026.

The original ABR Project:
• Was granted permission in 2015
• Was the first major project under the Dublin Port Masterplan 2040
• Has delivered significant new port infrastructure
• Expired in July 2025 before all elements were completed

The ABR2 Project is narrower in scope than the original project. Some previously permitted works are no longer being pursued.
